Your ROS (Revenue Online Service) certificate is essential for processing payroll and interacting with Revenue. Bullet provides two main ways to upload or update this certificate.
Here is the video showing how to upload your ROS certificate in Bullet:
Method 1: Upload via General Settings
This is the primary way to manage your company’s core registration details, including the ROS certificate.
Step 1: Access Settings
- Go to the Accounts and Payroll section (top-left corner).
- Look for the Settings (gear) logo in the top right corner of the page (next to the Exit logo) and click it.
- You will land on the Registered Details section.
Step 2: Import the Certificate
- On the right-hand menu, click Import ROS Certificate.
- On the Import Certificate page:
- Click Choose Certificate File and select your ROS certificate file.
- Tip: The file should have a .P12 extension.
- Enter your Certificate Password.
- Note: It is best practice to manually type the password rather than pasting it to avoid potential system issues.
- Click Verify.
The certificate will appear under the heading ‘Imported ROS Certificates’ on that page, confirming the upload.
Method 2: Upload via the Wages Section
You can also access the same upload screen through the payroll workflow.
Step 1: Navigate to the RPN Import Page
- Go to the Wages section on the left-hand menu.
- From the drop-down menu, click Import RPNs.
- You will land on the “Add Employees Import from Revenue” page.
Step 2: Manage ROS Certificates
- Look at the right-hand menu on this page.
- Click the Manage ROS Certificates button.
Step 3: Import the Certificate
- The system will take you to the same Import Certificate page as in Method 1.
- Select your ROS certificate file (.P12 extension).
- Manually enter your Certificate Password.
- Click Verify.
The certificate will be successfully imported and listed under ‘Imported ROS Certificates’. In this same location, you will also have the option to delete any existing imported certificates.
