Connecting your bank account to accounting software like Bullet automates transaction importing, making reconciliation and record-keeping faster and more accurate.

Part 1: Connect Your Bank Account
Follow these steps to link your bank account to the Bullet system:
Step 1: Navigate to Bank Account Overview
- Go to the Accounts and Payroll section (top-left corner).
- On the left menu, click Bank Account.
- From the drop-down menu, select Overview.
Step 2: Initiate Connection
- On the Bank Account page, find the black button labeled Connect to Bank Account on the top right and click it.
- Click Connect to Bank on the next screen to start the workflow.
- A pop-up will appear explaining that Bullet uses a service to securely access your account transactions and details. Click Continue.
Step 3: Log in to Your Bank
- On the next screen, search for and select the name of your bank (e.g., Revolut, Bank of Ireland, AIB).
- You will be redirected to your bank’s secure login page. Enter your username and password to log in to your bank portal.
Step 4: Select Accounts to Connect
- Once successfully logged in, you will see a list of your bank accounts.
- Select the specific bank account(s) you wish to connect to Bullet by checking the appropriate boxes.
- Click Continue.
Your selected bank account will now appear in your Bullet system, along with summarized figures for imported transactions, your Bullet ledger balance, and the final reconciled balance.
Part 2: Manage and Update Bank Transactions
You may need to refresh transactions or check historical data to ensure accuracy.
Action 1: Refresh Imported Transactions (Current Data)
If you notice a discrepancy in the imported amount or balance:
- Go to Bank Account $\rightarrow$ Overview.
- Click on the name of your bank account.
- Look at the right menu. At the very bottom, click the button: Refresh Imported Transactions.
- Go back to the Bank Account Overview to confirm the latest transactions have been imported.
Action 2: Change the Pull Start Date (Historical Data)
If you need to import transactions from an earlier date:
- Go to Bank Account $\rightarrow$ Overview.
- Click on the name of your bank account.
- Check the Pull Start Date field. If this date does not match the start date you need, change the date to pull transactions from the desired time frame.
Action 3: Manage Imported Transactions
To edit, delete, or un-reconcile multiple imported transactions:
- Go to Bank Account $\rightarrow$ Overview.
- Under the connected bank account, click the button labeled Imported Transactions.
- This page shows all imported bank entries. Select the transaction(s) you wish to modify.
- At the top of the screen, use the Bulk Actions menu to select the action (e.g., Delete, Un-reconcile).
- Click Apply.
By following these steps, you can effectively connect, reconcile, and manage your bank transactions within Bullet.
