All About Bullet
Accounting and banking for small Irish businesses – automated, central-bank regulated, and built to save you time, money, and stress.
Forget balance sheets. With Bullet, your accounts runthemselves – so you can run your business.

Our Mission
To remove the stress and confusion from small business finances.
We believe accounting should work for you, not the other way around. That’s why
we’re building an end-to-end platform that makes accounting invisible – by
automating it entirely, from bank feed to tax return.

Our Story
Like most great ideas, Bullet started with frustration.
When co-founder John got stung with having to audit his account after his accountant filed his accounts late, he thought: how hard can it be to do this myself?
Turns out – pretty hard. The accounting software he downloaded expected him to already know accounting. That was the spark. Together with Peter, they built Bullet: accounting software that thinks like a human, not an accountant.
The early versions were simple with layers of clever UX and logic baked in, it could handle real-world complexity under the hood. Over time, Bullet added payroll, VAT returns, COVID-related rules, and a host of automation features. Then came our Central Bank licence.
Now? We’re building the future: AI-powered accounting, embedded banking, and seamless automation – so our users never have to “do” accounts again.

What We Do
Bullet is modern accounting and payroll software for small Irish businesses and sole traders.
We combine banking, automation, and accountant expertise to:
- File your tax returns (personal and corporate)
- Manage payroll, multi-currency, and expenses
- Capture receipts and sync with your bank
- Give real-time insights into how your business is performing
Unlike tools built for accountants (hello Xero and Sage), Bullet is built for you.
Our workflows do the heavy lifting – no jargon, no stress, no surprise invoices.
